Llaima Volcano Erupts in Chile Tourists Trapped

SANTIAGO, Chile — Fifty-three people, most likely tourists, were trapped in a Chilean wilderness park Wednesday by an erupting volcano, Reuters reported.
On Tuesday, 150 tourists and National Forest Service employees were evacuated from the Conguillio National Park 400 miles south of Santiago after the Llaima volcano erupted.
The Volcano is in CHILE. The nearest populated places are Pueco (18km), Refugio Llaima (3km), Santa Mar¡a (15km).
It is a mountainous region with a maximum altitude of 2969 m.
